Vikash Patel qualified from the Cardiff University School of Dentistry with a BDS Honours degree in 2009 and has been part of the team at Family Dental Practice since 2012

He is committed to preventing oral disease offering a preventive-based approach to all treatments and his aim is to give patients the tools they need to help to maintain a healthy mouth.

He has continued postgraduate education and he is Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has undertaken further training in advanced cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry, at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute.

His special interest includes Cosmetic adhesive dentistry (also known as Composite Bonding) Minimally invasive porcelain veneers, all porcelain crowns and bridges Conventional metal ceramic and adhesive crowns and bridges tooth whitening and aesthetic composites including replacing old metal amalgam fillings
